Intended use of local calendars

Is the purpose of the local calendars for regular weekly type dances? If so then scoping it by state will get crowded in some cases (e.g. California, where the LA area events alone have become the primary source of traffic on rec.arts.dance). Maybe some additional hierarchy, or a geographic filter?

Jon, thank you for the suggestion. I agree that a hierarchy geographic filter will be needed as Westie Wire grows. I will certainly add this to my list and prepare a solution for when that time comes. For now the current calendar structure should be ok until we can program in some filters.
