Congrats to the welcoming group in chitown on picking up the Classic once again after seven years!

I remember leaving nyc @ 1:30am 09/11/01 enroute to deliver sound for the last Chicago Classic, made it to Chicago on time through that strange time, but the event was cancelled (they thought the Sears tower and/or the exchange was a target too).

Worked with April in Tampa Bay this past November, she is up to the challenge of head DJ. Victor and Beth are excellent choices for the comp music.

Enjoy, will look for it next year.

What a great time! What a great turnout! My feet hurt, and my back is sore, I'm totally sleep-deprived, and my voice is hoarse, but it was totally worth it! Great seeing friends and hanging out with new people too (y'all know who you are). :)

Some noteable moments not necessarily included in the original weekend pass: Hearing Eric Estrada humming his Chips theme song as he sauntered down the hallway, getting to ride in an elevator with Bud Bundy, and assisting in breaking a judge's bed. Serious greatness at this event!
