Lindy tonight anyone??

Now I know the name of this site is Westie Wire, but since no Taj tonight, a few of us are headin over to Columbus 72 [on Columbus & 72nd :) ]. It's a lindy dance, there's a band and a dj, and it's a cool spot to hang.

AND let's go check out the space. One never knows ........

Does anyone have the details? Cost? Does the band play mostly smooth lindy or the super-fast-go-see-your-cardiologists-first lindy?

By current lindy standards. NYC Lindy Hoppers on average have a pretty low tempo threshold - majority of music tonight should be in the 140-180bpm range. The fast crowed will be at White Heat tonight dancing Balboa and Fast Lindy at 200bpm +.

I just saw this now. I would have gone to Columbus 72. Although I'm not a huge fan of the band. I was at White Heat.
