I don't know if it's just me, but when I view a topic that's listed as 'new' in the forum list, and click back on the link above the forum "Westie Wire" which takes you to the main forum page, sometimes the "new" doesn't go away until I click in the forum again and click back out. I'm not using the back feature of my browser, so not sure why it is not recognizing that I read all posts in that forum.

It seems that it the "new icon" is cached until you visit the thread page with not new threads available. New threads are bolded by default. Once you click on it, then go back to the threads page, the bold goes away. Now the system knows you viewed the thread. If you skip this page and go right to the forum home it still thinks the thread page had a new thread on it. That's why it goes away once you click back in the forum.

New posts indicators on the root page stick around even after I've read the thread.
If I go in the forum for the second time to check out the subtopics, and it shows that all are read, then go back to the top, then it clears.

It'd be cool if this bug was fixed.
