Is this a West Coast Event or Lindy Event. The web site is leaning toward lindy. I know of several people that have decided not to go because of this.

Nothing has changed for the West Coasters at all, although they added more classes and comps for WCS. They have the same exact setup as last year. Lindy Hop and Balboa were just added and they have their own ballroom for their events. They do have some things planned to mix the crowds, mostly during the show, but otherwise it's optional. You can do all WCS all weekend if you want.

I sent you a message about the Yahoo groups. Will gladly clear up any questions. It's sad that a few people are so resistant to change, even though, as I said before, it's not really going to change much for the WCS crowd. We just had Parker & Jessica here last weekend and they were super excited about the event adding vintage swing (especially Jessica, she' SO cute!) ! In fact, most people are extremely excited and happy about the additions. Registration has been great! We are aspiring to be like Tea Party: happy dancers, great performances and lots of fun in an environment supportive of all forms of swing dancing! Hope you'll come check it out!
