NYC Ladies Wanted - SNE Bookends Team

Hello NYC ladies!

Thinking about going to Swingin' New England? Interested in participating in a fun team performance?

Bookends is an "anything goes" same sex competition where the winners are choses by the audience. Past winners include: Kevin and Marty with their invisible partners then take their clothes off, Kevin and Marty imitate Doug and Ben while taking their clothes off.

Well, we won't be taking our clothes off. And we won't be doing much swing content (if any, still TBD). But it will be very very very very very very funny. The routine is friendly for all levels of dancers.

WOMEN ONLY!

Once we know there are enough women interested in participating, we'll be setting rehearsal times and arranging to perform in the city.

SNE is November 7-9, in Cape Cod. It's a fun, laid back weekend.

OK, we're on (like Donkey Kong?)!!!

First meeting/rehersal will take place at Ripley Greer Studios (520 8th Avenue) at 8pm on Thursday September 11th, 2008 (this is before Fram, so we can go dance afterwards).

So, you have a week to decide if you want to join us!

At our first meeting you will get to see what our awesome fantastic high-larry-ous super cool routine will look like and we'll start start some preliminaries to learning the routine/formation changes.

Again, this is a super easy routine - so all levels of dancers are welcome!!

You must be planning on attending Swingin' New England 2008 (Nov. 7-9 as this is where we will be performing and seriously - you're not going to actually learn anything as you would in a class, so you should be doing it for the fun we're going have and to perform a completely silly thing that will give a stripping Marty a run for his money.
