Mark Eckstein is a Lindy/WCS dancer we met several years ago at The North River Bar in NYC. Today he's working as a dancer and choreographer full time. Mark has started a dance troupe and his group performed this weekend in Philly as part of the Garden State Dance Festival. We went to see the show with Michael Stevens and LeMome. What an outstanding performance. Every dance was amazing and moving. After the show we had a chance to say hi to Mark and meet some of the dancers. It was such a wonderful evening. Mark performed an amazing number in the show, as well as did some of the choreography! We wish Mark, his dance troupe and The Garden State Dance Festival the best of luck.

The show will be at The Scottish Rite Theater in Collingswood, NJ next Sat-
urday - May 3. I highly recommend you go! It's a great way to spend an evening! You'll be gald you did.

A number of us went down to Philly from NYC to see Mark perform this past weekend. He's been bringing his dancers out to Festa's Wednesday night dances for a while to expose them to social dance.

It was so wonderful see what he'd put together - Mark is quite the visionary (even if the first number disturbed me a little!), his dancers so talented. It was well worth the two-hour trip. Many New Yorkers may know Evita Arce, she's in the company and was adorable in her roll in the second number. I'd been hearing about the company for a few months now and it was great getting to see the final product.

Anyone who has a chance should definitly go next weekend.
