First Saturday of Each Month
Time:8pm-12:30am

New DJ Each Month!!
FREE LESSON from 8-9pm, New Instructor each month!!

Admission:
$10 - members
$12 - discount (Sign up through Strictly Westie, College Students, Studio VIP Members)
$15 - non-members

There are rotating DJs and Instructors every month to provide you with a variety of West Coast Swing music and teaching styles.

Good question....I'll check with the Board and see what they think. We'll post the rules, so keep checking here for details.

Details for the June 7th Gotham Soul Dance and Jack & Jill

Gotham Soul
Because of the workshops with Mary Ann Nunez, our usual pre-dance class is canceled. The dance will begin at 9p.

J&J
There will be two Jack & Jills (Beginner/Novice & Intermediate/Advanced) - this will be based on the number of entrants. It is at the club's digression to combine both competitions into one Open Division pending number of participants. You can enter whichever division you believe is best suited to your skill level. J&J's will start at approximatly 10:30p, please arrive early to sign-up/check-in so that we can a determine whether or not to do two divisions or one.

After lining-up, there will be one rotation - no prelims or warm-up round - this is straight to finals.

Judges and prizes TBD.

The next Gotham Soul dance is this Saturday at Club 412, John Festa is the DJ. There will not be the usual free lesson before the dance due to the Gotham Workshops with Mary Ann Nunez earlier in the day.

Workshop Schedule:
5:00-6:00pm - Gliding & Sliding Footwork
6:00-7:00pm - Fun Moves for Everyone
7:00-8:00pm - When & How To Play with the Music

Workshop Admission:
$15/day for members
$40/day for non-members

Dance Admission:
$10 - members
$12 - discount (College Students, Studio VIP Members)
